Accounting Internship (Summer 2024, Hybrid)

We are looking for highly engaged and self-driven student to join our dynamic accounting team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the essential functions of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes. You will collaborate with experienced professionals to support financial operations and contribute to the success of Locus Robotics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, billing, and collections.
• Support accounts payable activities such as invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements.
• Perform reconciliations of AR and AP records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve discrepancies and inquiries.
• Assist in month-end close procedures and financial reporting tasks.
• Contribute to process improvements and optimization initiatives within the accounting department.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to team goals.
