Eating Matters

Speaking of dinner, five Atlanta restaurants were just awarded a single Michelin Star. What does that mean? Michelin Stars can be awarded as a single star to three stars, which is the highest honor. A one-Michelin Star restaurant is considered “very good in its category”. It is proven to have a quality menu and prepares cuisine to a consistently high standard. Those five restaurants are:

• Hayakawa – A Classic Japanese restaurant that serves sushi, hot dishes, and sake. 
• Mujō – A Sushi restaurant that is located in the Westside Provisions District. 
• Lazy Betty – A high-concept restaurant that serves innovative tasting menus and wine pairings in a stylish setting.
• Bacchanalia – This restaurant features seasonal New American plates and wine in a white-tablecloth setting with industrial-chic touches.
• Atlas – This is an upscale hotel restaurant serving artfully plated American food made from seasonal ingredients.
