Rhenus - Higher LPH Mezzanine Picking

Rhenus, a distributor for the largest bookseller in German-speaking countries, struggled to hire and train associates due to the seasonality of their business. They chose Locus Robotics because it was easy to implement; didn't require major modifications to their operations; and the communication between the Locus solution and their WMS was easy.

Throughout the process, Rhenus involved their associates, who had fun coming up with names for the bots. Each bot has a sticker with a name on it, making it more like an actual coworker.

With Locus, Rhenus has increased their warehouse productivity of lines per hour from 80 LPH before Locus to 120+ LPH and even 147 LPH during the peak season.
